II. Flash Applets for Quadratics

 The Quadratic Explorer - dynamically allows the user to view any quadratic and to watch the graph change with the coefficients. Data is output for input into other applications such as MS Word or Excel.

Using Quadratic Explorer

  The Bouncing Ball - allows the student to see the ball bounce up and down while the graph of height vs time is produced simultaneously. Change of gravitational constant and elasticity of the ball is allowed.
  The Car Quadratic - allows the student to see the position and velocity of a car simulataneously. Interactivity allows the acceleration (i.e. the coefficient of x2 to change)

  Difference engine for quadratics. Show how second differences for quadratics are always constant.
